I am a PhD student in political science and an MS student in statistics at UCLA. I study American political economy and political methodology.
My research agenda primarily focuses on money in politics and electoral behaviors in the US. I examine how legislators, voters, and firms respond to policy changes, shifts in economic conditions, and salient local events (e.g., shootings). My secondary focus is on developing practical causal inference methods and improving tools for collecting large, untapped administrative data. I am a member of the Practical Causal Inference Lab.
Prior to joining UCLA, I received my BS in mathematics and BA in political science from UC Irvine. You can access my CV here.
