I am a PhD candidate in political science and an MS student in statistics at UCLA. I study political economy and political methodology.

My research agenda centers on the influence of money in politics (including corporate political strategies) and political behavior in the United States. I investigate how firms, voters, and politicians respond to shifts in political or economic conditions, as well as to local shocks (e.g., shootings). This line of inquiry often necessitates developing and applying new causal inference and machine learning methods. I am a member of the Practical Causal Inference Lab

Prior to joining UCLA, I received my BS in mathematics and BA in political science from UC Irvine. You can access my CV here.
